home again

After a really long drive and an accident with a deer, I am home from Chicago. Overall, PBB had an eventful road trip and a successful reading Saturday night.

Here is Tate reading from God Bless This Circuitry...


I had a blast reading from Inmates + Kittens (thanks for the wonderful book Marni) and the audience roared with laughter for the few minutes I performed.

Next item of business is a release party for Tate's book - hopefully in July - more on that soon.

A very special thanks to my brother who has been promoting my book, Album, which has resulted in a few sales...thanks Pete!

Action/Interaction Chicago

Tate and I are finally in Chicago and it is the first full day of the Columbia College Chicago Action/Interaction Book/Arts Conference.




Here is our website inspired table...things today are a little slow but we are hoping to sell more books tomorrow. Tonight we are looking forward to participating in the Open Mic session to do the final readings of our Midwestern tour.

We are really lucky to be sharing a space with Crissy Welzen...here she is hard at work as always!

The Rip-Off Artists

I got to spend Thursday night with Peter and Nick to take photographs for their upcoming album "esque." We managed to dodge the super-cell storm that was predicted and got some funny shots in the process. Hopefully this one (my personal favorite) will make the cut.
