Jury Duty

The Summer Institute at Visual Studies Workshop starts on June 25th so I am a little frazzled. In between the panic attacks I am starting to get images together for my Preacher's Biscuit Book, 40lb. Test. With any luck my first book in years will finally be finished in late (most likely very late) 2007. I think this photo above might be of use - however I have no idea when or where I took it (I suspect San Francisco?). Digital photos are funny that way. I have thousands of images DCP.....on to infinity which become lost on my hard drives, dvds, cds, etc. Since I am so concerned with the lost histories of vernacular images you would think I would take better care in archiving my own work...you would think. Perhaps I will ponder how best to tackle this archiving feat while I sit for hours in jury duty on Monday. The dreaded Monday, just one day before my 33rd birthday (ugh) and one week before workshops begin and my life turns into a hurried mush. Maybe these deep thoughts will also keep me from coveting/buying these shoes...
