Congratulations to my parents who were married 39 years ago today. I have a major body of work titled "July 19, 1969," yet I always forget that it is their anniversary. On the way home from photographing a beautiful wedding today I luckily called my parents and was able to recover from my lack of memory. I think it just might be a fitting date to retire and end a long and stressful "jaunt" into the world of amateur wedding photography. Hooray (finally) for my last wedding "job" a big congrats to E and G.

I am sorry to hear that you've decided to retire from wedding photography. The world just lost the only good one. (By the way, my parents were married on July 22...the creepy date similarities between your family and mine continue)
Hey, my parents were married on July 19th too. This year was their 50th! Interesting coincidence....
