Most beautiful day of driving so far. Desert, mountains, snow, sun. Exactly what you imagine driving out west to be. Despite the rain and wind we crossed into the Pacific Time Zone at sunset. The bright lights of Vegas during twilight signified the end of our travel day.
San Francisco tomorrow. It's bitter sweet. Still no word on the closing of our house. Still no prospects on places to stay in LA. It's been nice to have an incentive every day to leave the town we were in and get to the next place. Tomorrow there is no incentive. It's just the end. I wish we could stay on the road forever.
