Went to see Jeff Garlin in conversation with Marc Maron last night. Amazing. Hilarious. Unexpected.
As much as I love him in Curb Your Enthusiasm I never imagined I would love his stand up. It was fantastic. One of the funnier parts of the evening was an after-show in a smaller part of the venue where he stood on stage and just gave away his junk to audience members. It was like a participatory yard sale one item at a time.
"I have this Criterion DVD of Slacker...who wants it?"
Absolutely worth the cost of admission.
